Quarantennale della Fondazione 1975-2015, Lecco

8 members of SI Bingley joined their Friendship Link Club in Lecco, Lake Como, Italy from the 6-9th June 2015 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the SI Lecco Club.  They received an extremely warm welcome and participated in a long weekend of events which included learning more about the Lecco Region. They shared wonderful food and drink together and most importantly, celebrated the presentation of Awards for PA work which this year was linked to the Milan EXPO on the theme  ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’.  Key features of the weekend also included a poster exhibition of women from 1900 to 1950, a concert by a youth orchestra and a competition where recycled materials were used to create table coverings.
