South Caernarfonshire Club

#WalkTheRegion – Our members walked  54.45 miles – two of us will walk more on Sunday

14 people and 3 dogs walked
We engaged with quite a number of people about soroptimists on our walks.

We hope you will look at the photos of our walkers and the beautiful countryside here in South Caernarfonshire, North Wales.

The top pic is a photo of all our walkers on the beach at Criccieth – you will see the historic Criccieth Castle in the backgroun. The Castle was built by Llewelyn the Great in 1230.

The photo on the right is Lon Good – this is a 7 mile agricultural road developed  in the 1820’s to facilitate the transport of lime, coal and peat,

Drovers also used the road to take animals to market.

The wooden upright is engraved and embedded with stones.
